The Ponce Real Estate Group saw a surge in luxury home sales in Los Angeles County. Contracts for properties worth $4 million or more jumped to 28, amounting to a staggering $243.7 million in the last unofficial week of summer. This is up from the previous week's 18 contracts, which totaled a little over $156 million.

Beverly Hills properties led the way, with the top spot claimed by 1240 Shadow Hill Way, listed just under $25 million. The city's exemption from Los Angeles' Measure ULA, known as the mansion tax, has made it a prime market.
